 I am a creative narrative designer, game designer, and artist with a passion for designing powerful, immersive stories and innovative gameplay experiences. I have a MA in Video Game Development from Academy of Art University and my more recent experience as an associate game designer on Blackout Bingo: Design Blast has provided me a keen understanding of game systems and mechanics. On top of that, I bring over 20 years of visual communication knowledge to the table.

I thrive at visual storytelling to make something new, inventive and fun, and love the process of creative collaboration for ideation, level design and game mechanic iteration.

There is a great big world out there and I believe in the constantly growing potential of video games to connect people. 

WORKED ON

Blackout Bingo: Design Blast is a F2P mobile competitive bingo game with a decorative twist for iOS and Android (released in Philippines & India, 2023)

Role: Associate Designer

  • Defined F2P decor game’s property locations, including rooms, collections and themes

  • Closely collaborated and brainstormed with Art team to ensure all visual results matched concepts and supported content

  • Assisted in development of game narrative with focus on main character integration into game features

  • Created and maintained multiple highly visual gameplay specs

  • Conceived and took ownership of Google spreadsheet “bible” for over 2000 visual assets which was referenced by all teams

  • Participated in weekly design meetings for game ideation, implementation and iteration

  • Responsible for management and organization of documentation

  • Extensive research, reference collection, and organization of content

Role: Junior Designer

  • Created and maintained the Game Design Document

  • Collaborated with Art and Engineering to ensure vision and tasks were clear

  • Responsible for all data implementation of game content

  • Identified process and toolchain improvements to maximize data integration

  • Implementation of many cycles of content/balance iteration

  • Playtested, reported and fixed content issues and bugs
